This is a m/m/m/f ménage novel very similar to “Colters’ Woman.” Regina is the daughter of the wealthiest man in town, who also happens to be the mayor. Unfortunately, her parents never had any time for her. No wonder her best friends are three orphaned boys: Cam, Hutch, and Sawyer. Together they form a bond of trust that takes the place of the loving family they never had.

When they grow up Reggie becomes a police officer, and the boys own a successful construction company. The year before this novel takes place they shared one night of hot ménage passion, which scared the we-willies out of Reggie, and she’s been running from the guys ever since. That is until she answers a call one night and is brutally attacked. Then Cam, Hutch, and Sawyer return, determined to convince her to spend the rest of her life with them.

What is it with me? I really like these erotica novels with a m/m/m/f ménage plot. I mentioned this to Auntee the other day, but it reminds me of my “harem of men.” Both the heroine in “Coulters’ Woman” and this novel had been emotionally abandoned by their parents. Just like me. It makes me wonder if that kind of abandonment leaves a hole in your soul that can only be filled by three gorgeous, oversexed men. Hey, I can think of worse things, ya know? Just imagine how much fun it would be to “research” this theory of mine. Hmm. I could get into that. *lusty grin*
