Book Review

The Book Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume is about a girl named Davey Wexler. Davey has suffered the loss of her father and seems like her world is going to rotate in circles. Davey needs to relax and recover from her father's death which is why her mother decides to send her and her brother Jason to Los Almos, New Mexico to stay with their aunt Bitsy and uncle Walter. Davey is getting to know the area and everything is about to change because she met a boy named Wolf.
This book shows how someone can get out of control or be affected when the one they love is gone. An important theme in this story would be family. Davey was really attached to her father and it was hard for her to wake up and attend her father's funeral. We could infer that Davey is not the only affected one but so is her brother Jason.
