I've seen the movie, I've heard the story, but I finally got the 'real' story about Amityville. Pigs? Slimy green walls? Marching bands? (Not to mention levitation and Satan himself). I'll tell you what, if I were the Lutz's I would have been out of there immediately, I wouldn't have waited the 28 days. This is my second most reason for not getting a house (naturally my first is because I can't afford one): but what would you ever do if you lived in a haunted house and had no way out??!?!

I am a firm believer in the paranormal and the unknown, but this seemed a little far-fetched even to me. However, who am I to judge because if the entire family left and never returned to get their belongings something must have been happening in that house. What I really wish I learned more about was the DeFeos and if Ronnie claimed that this was the reason he murdered his family. A decent book and definately creepy to read at night. Proceed with caution!
