really liked it

well, the first time i tried to read this book i wasn't able to get through the first chapter, too much detail and it rambled like a crazy person. however, i was intrigued while horrified by the movie when i watched it a couple weekends ago and started the book again.

the book although it was horrifying, graphic, and extremely violent and psychotic was addictictive. the violence gets progressively worse and really doesn't start till about half-way through the story so you really get sucked in. by that time despite being grossed out, you feel compelled to see what happens.

the most disturbing things about the book: A)the authors juxtaposition of graphic pornography and torture/gore/violence B)the end of the story you realize that the character is no worse than the author C)the mind wonders how one could come up with such horrible ideas, and along with point "B" one wonders if the author is married or able to get dates???
