Wemberly Worried is a great book to start off the school year for new students. It captures the anxiety emotions most children have when entering school for the first day.

After reading this book, I got the idea of maybe inviting students to bring in their stuffed animal, a small toy, or something that reminds them of home. These items can really bring comfort to the students who are typical worried or nervous when they are not home. They can also do a show and tell to gain more confidence as they show off their toy to their classmates. This will familarize them to their classmates and their surroundings of the classroom.

Easy read, and great emotions can be expressed while reading this book. I recommend!
