really liked it
Read from August 20 to September 16, 2012

This book was a surprise to read - for several reasons. For one, a new author I had seen adverts for but not really had a chance to explore till now. One which I am glad I did - easy style, compelling characters and a great narrative. then there is the story line. It could so easily have been one of those throw away titles - where an interesting idea could have been exhausted in a paragraph followed by a book of clichés and rehashed second hand stories would follow. But it didn't, what followed was a fascinating book with all sorts of twists and turn which kept me guessing and wanting to see what happened. Many of these books they end where the impossible questions get too much and the author does not want to answer them - you know the kind where we already know the answer but the author does not have the heart to go through with it - or wants to give you a sliver of hope (and a possible sequel). Well this book ends at what I felt was a natural conclusion, it ended where it should have. Yes I would love to read more but not what happened next to the characters in this book - no what happened else where.
This author has potential and I for one want to read more of his work.
