I admit I did not finish this one. I got about half way and stopped. I love stories about how the brain adapts to traumatic brain injuries and I'm normally pretty good about reading non-fiction descriptions of horrific events but this was too much even for me. Perhaps it's because its actual excerpts of the serial killers' letters and this proved to be just too empty and soulless. Combine that with Tony's fawning responses about how these men are his very best friends and I was more than a little put off. The final straw for me was one serial killer describing how he "hunted" his prey and his whole focus was inflicting as much pain as possible - and then describing how - followed by Tony's BFF bull. I'm out.
