it was ok

This wasn't a bad mystery, but I'm much fonder of the Kate Martinelli mysteries (of which this is one...sort of) than the author's Mary Sue Russell mysteries, and this book had a bit too much intrusion of her Russell universe, edging out much of the Martinelli character in this outing. Consequently, I was a bit disappointed.

Also, I feel her relationship between Kate and her lover, Lee, always seems a bit stiff. I really *want* to like these two together, but there always seems to be a negative vibe there, somehow.
