I read this book on a packed plane ride out of New Orleans. What a mistake!
This is the kind of book that will make you laugh, make you cry and generally make other passengers on a flight think that you're a raging lunatic.
Dakota Cassidy once again captures the myriad of emotions that come into play following public betrayal, divorce and trying to start over. She successfully follows both heroine and hero as they struggle with fear, lust, anger and love and writes them each so authentically that one feels as if they are experiencing the same emotional highs and lows.
Never afraid to shy away from the humour and awkwardness that can just as easily be found in everday life as heartbreak and sadness, Dakota Cassidy provides an genuine, heartfelt and hilarious look at starting over again in love.
