I absolutely LOVED this book!
It was nearly too short for my needs, but fortunately i got book 2 already on my kindle.
I loved the autors ideas about wonderland, the descriptions were good and easy to imagine (which i think is really an accomplishment since its not easy to describe an upside-down world... i think.).
The hatter really has a unique touch, but isn't completely OOC from the original novel - he could have been a little bit more crazy when he first met Alice and his sentences a little bit more twisted - the novel would have been more difficult to read, then, but that's what he's like.
Alice was nice, too and Danika has bekome my favourite fairy godmother (even as she despises Cinderella's which i like pretty much, too - the one in the originial fairy tale, not the disney-movie)
I liked the idea of more than one Alice visitig Wonderland. There was a hint in the Burton-Movie I really loved.
ANd wasn't it even hinted in the original novel that there could be a thing between the hatter and alice? I'm not completely sure but think that was the great controversial about the story... but i could be wrong, English Class wasn't my favourite...
When I'm finished with writig this I'm going to start the second book!
The third will be the big bad wolf - thank you.
About the Jinni-Book i have no expectations - 1001 nights is not my special topic. And I really hope, Marie Hall will make me like Hook, because I hate everything about the Peter Pan story. (worst. book. i. ever. read.)
