An eye-opening history of 20th century school policy, real estate law, and hiring practices that have shaped the racial landscape inside the U.S. today. Depressing, but so much relevant background to understand both the way hometowns were laid out and the current angst over voter ID laws and the such. Recommend to anyone, although may be uncomfortable for some to read.
