Nothing special. Fun but not great.

Two oddball friends take a road trip to heal the broken heart belonging to the lover of Katherines, Colin. Hassan, Colin's best friend, is sure that some time away will help both of them. Hassan is trying to decide if college is for him, while Colin thinks back on every last Katherine that's entered his life since his childhood.

John Green garned much attention for his previous book, Looking for Alaska, but I couldn't find much of anything special there either. Both books, despite their male protagonists, appeal more to young women than men because the "love aspect" acts as a strong plot element.
