Just finished the next adventure in Sadie Hoffmiller's culinary mysteries. I enjoyed this book but this one was a bit of a stretch for me I guess. I guess this one just goes to show how dangerous it can be to be a busy body. In this book we also see that Sadie has to make choices in her love interests. Will she choose exciting or will she choose safe? It was a fun book and the recipes sounded really yummy as usual. I found myself a journal and started copying recipes in it. Now I just need to start feeling better so that I can start cooking them up.

I hate to write to much in my review because I hate to give away spoilers for other people. However I thought it was tragic to see what had happened to Eric's daughter. It's sad to see how children get lost in divorce and broken marriages. Granted this situation was unique but how many children feel the same way Megan did? Sadie could have saved herself a lot of grief and pain if she had stayed out of the situation from the beginning like she wanted to. She seems to think that she is the only one can solve the mysteries here. She does seem to have a talent for finding the answers but often times so do others. How much more effective could she be if she got a detectives licence and worked with the police? lol
