bookshelves: fun

The life of Dr. Isabel Favor, a self-help lecturer, is in the toilet. In trying to examine her options when the bottom drops out, she meets movie star Lorenzo Gage, from whom she unknowling rents a farmhouse in Italy. Although the townspeople are trying to get her to leave the farmhouse she refuses to go and the sparks fly between the lady and the movie star. With a mix of Ren's ex-wife, her husband her children, the townsfolk (including a sexy doctor)the two main characters have to examine their feelings for each other and Dr. Favor comes to terms with where her life went wrong.
Although I didn't laugh out loud as often reading this particular Phillips book, the characters are interesting and realistic and it's a fun book.
