Nice contemporary romance with an out-for-you theme. Rich is a closeted bar manager in a small Canadian town. He's very lonely and his last relationship ended in disaster. But now the new male nurse in town, Matthew, has caught his eye and he wants to take another chance.

This is a relaxed, fun read. There is surprisingly little angst despite the blurb. I especially loved the easy natural conversations between Rich and Matthew and between them and their friends and family. I liked the teasing humour (which is not quite pc at times - so beware!) and the way they could laugh at themselves too. Great to read a book set in Canada.

I'm hoping the third book in the series will be about Andrew!

Chris Sounds promising... as long as I don't look at the cover! ;)

MandyM It's the trademark 'daggy' MLR press look! I'm not sure what that big building is in the background. It's actually set in a small town.:/
