Wonderful! This book is a very well written factual history with some fictional characters. The timeline of WWII is clearly explained through the lives of five families in the US, England, Germany and Russia. I learned more about WWII from this book than I did in all my years of school. I could not stop reading, it grips you and draws you into the events and people. You can't stop, you have to know what happens next. I can't wait for the final book in the Century Trilogy. This book is recommended for anyone interested in history, people or just a great read! Everyone needs to read the Fall of Giants and the Winter of the World.
