really liked it

The novel weaves multiple story lines together, but stops just short of brilliance when the reader can easily discern the pattern near the end. Instead of just reading how it's all too late for one of the characters, I'd like to have experienced it with the character. The emotional tug could have toppled it from good to great. The ending also came too abruptly. I actually turned the page, looking for the end, then reread the last two pages to see if I was just going too fast. Unfortunately, I wasn't.

With that said, the story drew me in and curled me up on the couch to finish all in one sitting. Excellently written, until the end.
