Read from August 17 to 21, 2012

When I saw this book at the library I was intrigued to read something written by the genius creator behind some of my favourite movies. When I actually sat down and read the book, I became increasingly concerned at the consistent themes of incest that run through Mario Puzo's later works. Hmm, I kept thinking. Maybe the brother and sister will stop liking each other so much. I don't want to ruin the book for anyone but guess what? Brother on sister was even considered gross and sinful back in the 1400s when the book takes place. It's not all bad. I did finish it. If you're not bothered by incestuous, weird relationships you may even like it. Two stars.
