really liked it

The title intrigued me so I bought a copy. The premise of the book is not totally unfamiliar. I think some people somewhere once thought themselves the "lost" tribe of Israel. And James Beauseigneur's The Christ Clone Trilogy does have a character that claims to be John the Apostle (there are also maths from Britain about Prester John who is immortal. Nevertheless, Liparulo does include a few brilliant twists in his plot. This keeps the tension I the story alive from start to finish. My only discontentment was that the story ends quite abruptly but of course this sets the stage for sequels. On the whole, though, an entertaining and engaging read. Stop thinking and experience it for yourself. ;)
