Rise of the Elgen (Michael Vey, #2)
by Richard Paul Evans
by Richard Paul Evans
Michael Vey 2 is a fantastic sequel. Its a roller coaster that never slows down until you reach the last page. Ostin, Jack, and Zeus have a much more prominent role in this book and it was nice to see their character's more fleshed out. Some people might complain that Michael and Taylor's romance wasn't explored enough in this book but I think there was enough of it sprinkled throughout the book. Besides the cliffhanger of an ending that leaves very little closure my only (minor) gripe is that there was a lot of characters to juggle when reading the book and I often forgot some of them were there because they had very little dialog, i.e Grace. But the Electroclan is back and if you enjoyed the first one you shouldn't hesitate picking this one up
