Shocked. Well, not so much shocked ... Coben is an amazing author but it never crossed my mind how he would do on a YA novel. It was really good!

The story line was intriguing. Between the girl disappearing and the mystery of his parents' job ... very interesting. I loved the interaction with Ema and Spoon. Coben wrote the dialogue exactly how kids that age talk. It didn't sound like he was talking down to the reader or making things more simple because it's a YA book ... I have found that a lot of authors do that when they cross from fiction to YA. But I didn't get that sense from him.

If you love Harlan Coben's writings or just like a good mystery, this is the book for you. It will keep you interested from the time you crack open the first page.

Great book ... can't wait to get my hands on the second in the series!!
