really liked it
bookshelves: author-evanovich-janet, humor, mystery, own, romantic-suspense
Read in January, 2017 , read count: 2

It was good, but not without it's flaws. I hate the fact that the author rushes the endings lately. The plot and suspense were good, character development was good, but the ending was rushed. That's not so good.

NOTE: On rereading the series, skipping all the silly holiday books with Diesel, I must note that evidently Lula's engagement ended in Plum Spooky since she was planning her wedding at end of book 14, and is no longer engaged at beginning of book 15. Feels like I missed something.

Traci This one was better, sort of gave me renewed hope about the series. Actually laughed - a lot - when Steph was at the BBQ contest in her costume. Hadn't done that in a looooong time.

ஐ Briansgirl (Book Sale Queen)ஐ I just hate that I'm reading 300+ pages of suspense and then the end happens in 2 pages! I've not had your problem since I'm reading them, for the first time, in order, back-to-back. Started Aug 15th and I'm up to book 16. Two to go then I'll have to wait and order #19.

Traci Reminds me of another author I used to read all the time who shall remain nameless (but her initials are LKH). There would be the dead body/mystery in the first chapter, lots of stuff in the next 30-however many chapters, then the last chapter where they mystery is solved, ie when you remembered there was a dead body to start with! Got really tired of wading my way thru the sexcapades and gave that series up :D
