As BBWAA voters debate the possible admittance of Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens into the Hall of Fame, this is a good book to read. Beyond Ty Cobb's racism and Babe Ruth's carousing, Chafets says that if we invoked the HOF's morals clause strictly, a number of current denizens would bet the boot.
