When I picked up Wicked Sexy by R. G. Alexander, I was looking for something completely different. Since I was in the Kobo bookstore (which tends to NOT have the books I'm looking for), I stumbled across this book and was dragged in by the cover and all its sexiness -- I mean, seriously, how sexy is that cover?

This was a fun, quick, and very steamy read!

The main character, Callie (short for Calliope), is pretty much a plain jane, ho' hum kind of girl -- I loved that about her. It was kind of a Cinderella-type story as her friend Harrison turns her into a witch -- or a Magian, as they call them in the book -- and then gives her a complete makeover, all so she will be able to help her solve a mystery.

Complete with sexy twin brothers, Callie's new powers, and some very hot and heavy sexy times (seeing as Magians relationships usually end up in a threesome -- you can see where THAT could go!), Wicked Sexy was one of those books that I flew through. The plot wasn't anything to write home about, but it was still fun. The pacing was perfect and we actually got a sense of who the characters were, even if I wanted a little more background.

This book is part of a series, but it can totally stand on its own.
