Paris: A Love Story
by Kati Marton
by Kati Marton
I enjoyed the first part of the book and the end very much. Marton was able to write about a personal loss and make it universal. Her love for her adopted city was inspiring. Much of the middle of the book was so full of key people and important places that it felt more like a who's who (when Antarctica was mentioned I wondered if Marton would meet the Emperor Penguin!). It was interesting, but the beginning and end of the book are where the feelings come through. I won a free copy of this book through Goodreads.
