First of all I love the cover and love books in the first person so right away it was a good start.

Charity was an interesting character with a well deserved chip on her shoulders for guys. I loved her smart alec attitude and how she was confident about herself. She had an odd fascination for lip gloss and sometimes corny remarks. Her group of friends were realistic and sometimes funny. Levi, the mysterious new guy is a strong hero, who is always there when Charity needs him.

Some of the subplots had me puzzled though. The story line with her stepfather was a tad creepy, and seemed unfinished.

Although it was a bit long, with a lot going on, and a spiritual aspect that I found out of place, Charity Moon was a good easy read with a good main story that kept me interested.
