If I ever get to visit New Orleans I'm not going to take a tourist guide with me. Instead I am going to be armed with copies of Greg Herren's books. I love the city and the people that he describes and I want to see it and them for myself one day.
'Murder in the Irish Channel' is another first class mystery from an author who knows how to spin a good story. He had me from the start so I read the book in one day. The mystery, which features gay detective Chance MacLeod and is the latest offering in a series, is well though out and definitely well written.
I have thoroughly enjoyed everything that I have read by this author - and I've read virtually all of his books - and I would recommend him to anyone who likes a good mystery with plenty of twists and turns in the plot.
