This is a Pulitzer Prize winner that is a combination biography of both Louisa May Alcott and her father A. Bronson Alcott. I've only read the 1st 100 pages, but have found it to be very interesting. The author weaves the life stories of both seamlessly. The reader has the added advantage of reading all about Bronson's closest friends Emerson, Thoreau, and other great thinkers of the era.
