Received this book as an ARC from Goodreads. I was interested because of the description of a sort of coming of age story, the love angle, and it seemed a pleasant summer read. It reads easily and quickly and is a love story with a happy ending, so it meets those criteria. The lead character, Grace, just bothered me; she seems very young in the beginning, I would have guessed 21 by her behavior. Turns out she is 27, and I found her terribly immature, neurotic, and self involved for that age. (I have a daughter who is 29 and a daughter in law who is 25 so I am familiar with the 20 somethings.) By the end of the book when she is 30 she was not much better, and I just could not warm up to her. A story about her friend Peg would have been much more interesting. But thanks for the book, and I will pass it on to the "youngsters" in my family!
