Raymond Kilbride finds himself with more than a little handful after his father's accident death. He must now become the soul caregiver of his map-obsessed schizophrenic brother, Thomas. With the computer program Whirl360.com, Thomas travels the world nearly every waking moment. In his virtual adventures, he finds himself looking up into the window of a New York apartment. Ray soon discovers Thomas has stumbled upon a deadly conspiracy and that he doesn't know all his family's secrets.

This book was a bit slow to start, but once I reached the middle of the book I could not put it down. I was up until 1:30 a.m. trying to get to the end. The plot twists and turns and you never suspect what the answers will be.

There are actually three mysteries running through this book, and it was the secondary plot lines that really had me intrigued because I really wanted to understand the character of Thomas. I felt Raymond was well-written as the put-upon brother with a life turned upside down. Other characters, however, appeared to just be plot devious and not fully developed.

I do not often read mysteries, but this one left me pleasantly intrigued and I look forward to reading more of Barclay's work.
