really liked it

This book reads a little like a one-act play. It begins with a huge amount of energy and purpose. As it progresses, it never loses momentum. Middlesex was a world filled with unbelievable depth and character. This is more like peering through a fog. While I don't think it's quite as good as Middlesex (partially because the aim is not as grand in scope), I think it nears perfection. It's so short and satisfying. Definitely read in the summer.
