Hide and Seek
is one of the books that I've anticipated in 2012. I'm so glad to know that this is the last installment to the Lying Game series. I was so excited, before knowing that Sara decided to make it a six book series. Damn. I'm hoping that it stays that way. No more adding.
The story follows Emma Paxton in finding her twin sister murderer's, Sutton Mercer.
I was overwhelmingly shocked after finishing this. Totally. Whoa! I certainly never thought that it'd end that way. It was suspenseful, right from the beginning. (view spoiler)[Almost all of the clues found made Emma think that Laurel was Sutton's murderer, but then, in a second, the murderer might turn out to be Sutton's dad. I was so confused, why would a father want to kill his own daughter? And the ending left me flabbergasted, Becky, shockingly, is Mr. Mercer's daughter and Emma and Sutton are Mr. Mercer's granddaughter. (hide spoiler)]
After knowing the whole truth, I was speechless.
Overall, it was thoroughly enjoyable. I liked it so much. With riveting twists and turns, I was surprised to know that I'd finish it within a day. Sara Shepard proves once again why she is one of my favorite authors. This is truly the best book throughout the whole series. ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
