Have you ever really thought about how much time you spend wasting time?

The Time Keeper provides readers with a thought provoking answer to that very question as expressed by Father Time himself.

This book could be seen as a cautionary tale. A warning against the pitfalls of obsession with work, love, or anything else that one might focus on to the exclusion of family, friends, and time spent leading a truly fulfilling life.

Dor's obsession with counting and time led to his missing precious moments before the death of his wife, and as a result his being appointed to the lonely position as the "keeper of time".

His time in this capacity is filled with sorrow and regret for the loss of the moments that he realizes too late were squandered in the pursuit of his passion for marking time.

Sarah is a teen obsessed with unrequited love, and as a result blinded to her worth as a person and to those who love her. She is so lost in her grief that she has convinced herself that she is unworthy of time. She is hell-bent on ending her time line before it has had a chance to begin.

Victor is dying and he is sure that his money and his intelligence will give him the keys to immortality. Instead of spending his last days with his loving wife Grace, he spends every waki
ng moment on his quest to live forever.

Can Dor save these two from their fates,

and by extension save himself?

This heart-tugging tale will remind all that read it that "Carpe Diem" is not simply a collection of words, but a call to action.

We owe it to ourselves to not only live but to truly "seize the day"!
