it was ok
bookshelves: social-science, psychology

This book delivered theories of personality, as promised. However, the prose was tedious and dull. I read this in 2001 and haven't since found any problems or inaccuracies with the material, so the work is sound. But the presentation is tedious and very, very dry. The overall design was solid: biographical stubs, overview of theories for each chapter, "strong" and "weak" points were all good ideas. More could have been done to flesh out the writing. There just isn't a lot to chew on.
