... and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.

Ah, sorry, I mean, thank you, it's lovely!

Well, that makes all the difference of course. Please excuse my appalling lack of gratitude for this fine gift, which is truly the pearl of my wardrobe!

Was that better?

Jayaprakash Satyamurthy I need that t-shirt. What is this book? A selection of short stories or one of the two parts that the novel Norstrilia is sometimes split into?

Manny It's a collection of short stories. You'll have to negotiate with Not for a duplicate T-shirt...

Manny Thank you Cecily, I hadn't seen this! I had however read what looked like a plausible explanation of why Captcha and similar aren't working so well any more. The Captcha request is routed by the hacker to a porn site and reused there; then the answer is fed back to the original site.

I guess the same approach can be used for the new version too, but it must be technically a little more demanding since you need to record and transfer real-time behavior.

Cecily A little more difficult perhaps, but I'm sure it won't take long; the reward for success is too great.

Manny I think it's just a Google scam to get more training material for their image-recognition programme...

Cecily Of course! (Why didn't I think of that.)
