Can I nominate this for worst Hugo award winner to replace They'd Rather Be Right?

The thing I hated most about this book was the narrator. She was some twenty-something ditzy, push-over of a 50's stereotype. And you get to listen to her talk about boys and gossip and stuff, all in first person, for the entire book.

So the book is set in a Place outside time where soldiers fighting the time war go to hang out with women. At first I thought they were nurses, but really they're more like prostitutes with first aid, but it's the 50's so they don't say it outright...yeah. And then a bad thing happens (view spoiler) and it turns into a cheezy, dinner party style mystery where they have to try to figure out who fucked everyone over.

Definitely won't be reading the rest of the series.
