This book was definitely better than the first book. It was considerably short as a lot of useless banter and description wasn't included in this book as it was in 'Angel Time.' The story picks up right where 'Angel Time' leaves off and due to the shortness of both books I feel that they could have been combined into a singel book. All in all though the story was good as were the characters. Toward the end of the book when the action and story escalated it became a page turner that I couldn't put down. 'Of Love and Evil' definitely helped to redeem 'Angel Time,'and I am not disappointed for having read either book. As for the future books in this series that I know she will write (as book two kinda leaves some things hanging), I will definitely be sure to read them. I recant what I'd said before, although I maintain the first book was harder to get through, and I would recommend these books to someone to read.
