I really enjoyed this story because Anthony wrote Jamie as such a strong female character. It was amazing that she was able to overcome everything that was thrown at her at such a young age. It was quite easy to sympathize and identify with Jamie. I was so glad that she found a friend in LaVon, and he was one of my favorite things about the book. The writing was wonderful and I was able to finish reading in a few hours. The ending to the story was just what I was hoping for, and I felt was a perfect wrap-up for the storyline.
