Doomed Queen Anne is the basic story of Anne Boleyn for preteens and teenagers. This condensed version of history tells how she weaseled her way to the throne by marrying Henry VIII. Because it’s a young adult novel it’s very easy to read and very easy to understand.

Meyer was slightly off in her historical accuracy and her portrayal of Anne’s sister, Mary, and Anne was not to the caliber of Philippa Gregory’s The Other Boleyn Girl. However, Doomed Queen Anne is a much better fit for young teens who want to know about Queen Anne without having to read boring textbook or graphic sex scenes.

Anna The cleanest book that's about Anne Boleyn out there, I'm very sure of that.
