As you may know, I am a big fan of the Lincoln Rhyme-Amelia Sachs series by Jeffery Deaver. Set as usual in NYC, this is as good a one as usual. Besides being a suspenseful mystery story, the reader also learns some about power companies, and how dangerous electricity can be used as a murder weapon. There are the usual idiosyncracies--Amelia's love of cars, and Lincoln's fascination with getting his aide, Thomas, to allow him his ration of Scotch. Kathryn Dance appears by phone, working on a mutual case. I still like Harry Bosch, Michael Connelly's character better, but these are quite good, too.
