Recommended for: No one. Ever. Do not get sucked into the world of Twilight.
Read in December, 2007 , read count: 1.5 times.

If you're going to read this book, you're going to have to stop halfway through in order to enjoy it. I was completey enraptured by the first half of the book, reading the whole thing in a day and a half. The main character, Bella, though I despised her terribly cliche name, was unique and reminded me of myself. And I couldn't get enough of Edward. I was obsessed. It was completely addicting. Then, suddenly, they fell in love. And all was lost. The book turned to crap in my hands. Edward and Bella COMPLETELY lost their enticing characteristics. They only spoke disgusting, mushy phrases. Edward lost all the mystery and danger that I had previously loved about him, and Bella became a pathetic, drooling moron. Though I finished the book, and continue to read the rest of the series, I am thoroughly disappointed. Nice try, Stephenie Meyer. Better luck next time.
