An awesome collection... great pictures of true classics and pioneers in the rap game. For most, the accompanying paragraph or two covers how and why they deserve to be counted among the greats. For some, the words are too limited if they're even there. From when I first picked up the book, I was looking forward to reading about KRS-One... only to find 3 words about him on his spread... Ugh!... He and a handful of others were seemingly disrespected in this manner... possibly from not having approval or rights to write about them? Who knows? Also, the "artistic" formatting of some of the text made it un-readable in parts. Still... a very solid book on the history of Hip Hop and Rap.
