really liked it
Read in March, 2012

I hate to call this a modern To Kill a Mockingbird, b/c then the reader will be disappointed. But it's a very good story of racial prejudice in today's south, centering on young people, this time aimed at a south Asian immigrant family in a mountain community. Highly recommended.
