Nonfiction that reads like a thriller. Carefully researched and well paced. People insult each other in various languages by saying things like, "The oak tree is not concerned with the pig that is scratching its back against the roots."

Kristin My own cake-eaterness revealed. Thanks for the rec, Kirsti. That quote, btw, is part of the reason I love wine, I think. :)

Kirsti I found the book fascinating because I had no idea what was going to happen. You know much more about wine than I do, so it might not be such an eye-opener to you.

Kristin I don't think so. I'm not sure what wine feud this was about. Sounds juicy! (heh).

Kirsti Update: This book has been withdrawn from sale in the United Kingdom because one of the people portrayed in it sued the author and publisher.
