This was a great contemporary read about two characters from somewhat different socio-economic backgrounds, but not as much as they originally thought. Trick and Cami are great characters. I was nervous about Cami at first. I'm not a fan of cheaters. I was glad things didn't progress the way I thought they were going to. I liked Trick and Cami's banter and understanding and acceptance of one another. The parents in the story had some serious issues, and I guess I can see how their prejudices were difficult to overcome. The drama was well played out with the "secrets" and such. My biggest disappointment was with Rusty and Jenna. They were supposed to be great friends but I thought true friends might have tried to intervene a bit more than they did. Probably Sooty was a little more cryptic than he needed to be. But I liked the ultimate hope that Trick and Cami possessed, and their determined love for each other. Well played out ending.
