Roald Dahl books are always so wonderful. This one, a collection of stories from his childhood, is just as good as his fiction for children, which I've read many times. In Boy, he tells stories about being caned at school, getting into a car accident and how surgery was performed, and how he became a "bog-warmer" at boarding school (my personal favorite - I couldn't stop laughing!). The stories themselves are good, but the way he tells them is what makes them VERY good. There are few writers who can brings stories to life the way he does.
