This book truly was Gaskells Masterpiece, It was near-flawless from start to finish and It's such a tragedy that it was never completed. It was written so beautifully and It just flowed, like most books couldn't even begin to repeat. The plot was great, the characters, her true achievement, were so human and though totally dissimilar from one another, they all demonstrated their failings and redeeming qualities equally. Each of the characters, be it Mollys propensity towards all things good and homely or Cynthias contrary actions towards the people around her, were portrayed justly. Every single character was just so perfectly crafted, especially Osborne and his father, Gaskell just created a true, true masterpiece.
