I really enjoyed Elizabeth Mill's Fury, and the mess that Em finds herself in due to a selfish lapse of judgement is both real - having to deal with the mind games of a player - and surreal - suddenly being stalked by a strange girl who seems to wish Em nothing but harm.

Chase isn't being stalked by a strange girl, he is being seduced by one, and she betrays his trust often enough for you to wonder why he keeps going back for more...but you suspect it's not so simple, he can't help himself. So why does Ty want to hurt him in this way? The truth shows Chase isn't entirely blameless, but does he deserve all the punishment 'fate' seems to have in store for him.

The two girls that have been haunting Chase and Em are part of a trio, and just who they are come out at the end. Although Em and Chase had little in common at the start of the book, the unravelling of their lives pushes them a little closer. Em also gets support from an unexpected quarter, and the conclusion's quite dramatic!

My favourite character is of course JD, the wonderful guy who is totally ignored while our heroine pines after the other guy.

Fluid writing - really tidy - a clever, creepy plot and interesting characters, all made this a quick and fascinating read.

Looking forward to the sequel.
