4.5 Stars

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Even though I read this book months ago, it's still stuck in my mind. It's a story of courage, friendship, and most of all, family.

I'd recommend this to any of the following:
- history buffs
- graphic novel collectors
- the young at heart, or
- anyone who's looking for an action-packed war story

But I have to warn you, this book will rip your heart out. You'll find yourself questioning what you would do if you were in the characters' places. And most of all, when you've turned the last page, it'll leave you wondering what happens next.

If you can take that, then yes, definitely pick this book up. It's well worth the read, and it'll inspire you, because I know it inspired me.
