liked it

The writing in Grass was amazing and very structurally sound. Tepper crafted multiple layers of mystery, science, and suspense to be peeled away layer by layer revealing more intrigue to keep the reader hooked throughout the novel. The drama was balanced and written with beautiful imagery.
Despite the obvious skill in this novel, I was not entirely impressed with the book. Some parts dragged, or just didn't hold my attention. Some parts felt slow or unnecessary. Some parts didn't entirely make sense. Although I enjoyed the book a lot, my overall enjoyment was kind of mellowed.
